save gas, don’t turn left
posted in Fuel Economy, Automobiles |Last year, U.P.S. saved 3 million gallons of gas and shaved 28.2 million miles off delivery routes by the use of software that reduced the number of left turns drivers made and planned more efficient routes for them to take.
Can you think of any routes you normally take that involve waiting for a chance to make a left-hand turn, and could be replaced with a different route without?
